How to update your login preferences

Learn how to change your login email or switch your login method in Calendly. You can log in using Google, Microsoft, Calendly credentials, or SAML SSO.
Supported login methods
You can log in to Calendly using:
- Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com
- A Calendly username and password
- SAML single sign-on (SSO), like Okta
- Optional: Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for extra security
Note: To enable SAML SSO, contact your company’s IT admin. Learn more about SAML SSO features.
Change your login email
Want to update your email while keeping your current login method? Follow these steps:
- Go to Account Settings > Login preferences.
- Select Change email.
- If you login with Google, Microsoft365, or Outlook.com, Calendly will redirect you to your account provider.
- Choose your new email and select Save.
- Open your new email inbox. Select the confirmation link in the email.
Note: If your organization uses SAML SSO, contact your IT admin to update your email in the identity provider.
Switch your login method
You can switch between Google, Microsoft, or a Calendly password.
To update your login method:
- Go to Account Settings > Login preferences.
- Choose one:
- To use a Calendly password, select Unlink.
- To switch between Google and Microsoft, select Switch to Google/Microsoft.
- Calendly will send a six-digit code to your email.
- Enter the code to confirm.
- Select Continue in the confirmation window.
- Choose your new login account and enter its credentials.
After updating your login
- Your calendar connections won’t change.
- To update connected calendars, visit the Calendar Connections page.
Note: If you switched email platforms and can't log in, contact Calendly Support using our chatbot on the bottom right of any page.
