Account FAQs
When you add a new user, Calendly charges a pro-rated amount for their seat. The amount will depend on the time left on your current billing cycle.
If the added user already paid for an annual plan, Calendly refunds the unused part of their plan when they join your organization. You don't need to take any extra steps.
When a user, Calendly creates a seat for them in your account. If you remove a user, the seat stays unless you remove it.
This helps teams switch out users without needing to change billing right away.
To remove a seat:
- Go to your Billing page.
- Open the drop down menu.
- Select Remove Users.
Owners and Admins can view and edit users' event types and meetings. However, your Calendly home page will default to your personal event types.
To view another user:
- Select the My Calendly drop down menu.
- Choose the user you want to view.
Note: You can view your users' calendar connections and video conferencing integrations from their profile. However, you can't change their account settings - those must be set on their end.
Only the current organization owner can transfer ownership. Follow the steps in this article to change user roles.
After ownership is transferred, your account becomes an admin. An admin or the new owner can then remove your account from the organization.
If the current owner isn’t available, contact our support team. We’ll ask for some account details to help complete the ownership transfer.
By default, Calendly will use the login email to send invoices to. You can, however, update the billing email address without changing your login email address in a couple of ways.
- Add an additional billing contact to receive invoice and payment related emails. To do so, please contact our support team for assistance. Have the new contact's email address and the last 4 digits of the card on file ready.
- Change ownership of the Calendly organization. The owner is the primary billing contact by design. Changing ownership will also update the billing contact.
