This article contains commonly asked questions related to Calendly's routing from HubSpot forms.

Note

Calendly does not support the HubSpot multi-step form editor. We only support forms built using the HubSpot legacy form editor.

How does linking HubSpot forms with Calendly affect my HubSpot app?

First, set up your HubSpot app. Then, Calendly will:

  • Automatically add or update HubSpot leads and contacts and assign them to an owner.
  • Automatically add or update HubSpot events and activities for those leads or contacts.

For more details, check the Calendly + HubSpot help article.

When linking HubSpot Forms with Calendly Routing, your forms won’t change. After you add the Calendly script, it will read your form when submitted and show the correct booking page to your leads.

Does the HubSpot form integration work with hidden fields?

Yes, you can build routes using responses collected in a hidden field.

Should I create a new user in HubSpot to integrate Calendly?

It's not required to create a new user in HubSpot to integrate with Calendly. However, if you do decide to create a new user in HubSpot, make sure that the user has access to forms in your HubSpot account.

Will the form answers be sent to the salesperson who gets the meeting?

Yes, if HubSpot is connected to Calendly, the salesperson will automatically receive the form answers filled out by the lead or prospect.

Is this a true two-way integration?

No, Calendly reads your form after it's submitted, then applies routing. If a meeting is booked, we send the event details to HubSpot. However, we don’t pull any other information from your HubSpot account.

How will form submission tracking be affected?

Form submission tracking won’t change. Instead of sending leads to a new page, Calendly shows a pop-up with booking options on the same page.

If you track form submissions with a thank-you or landing page, update your Event Type settings. Set the confirmation page to redirect to your own URL. Paste in the link to your thank-you page, and you're all set!

Can I still pass UTM parameters and tracking data from my HubSpot form to the Calendly booking page or an external URL?

Yes, you can still pass UTM parameters and tracking data from your HubSpot form to the Calendly booking page or external URL.
