This article answers common questions about using Calendly’s routing with your Marketo forms.

Does integrating Calendly with my Marketo forms affect my Marketo setup?

No. Calendly only reads form field values to decide which scheduling page to show. It doesn’t change your Marketo app or any other connected tools.

Can I use hidden fields in my Marketo form?

Yes. You can route leads based on values collected in hidden fields.

Do I need a new Marketo user to connect Calendly?

Not required. But if you create a new user, it must be an API-only user.

Will form responses be passed to the salesperson?

Yes, but this depends on your Marketo-to-Salesforce integration. If you’ve set that up, responses will pass from the Marketo form to Salesforce and become visible to the assigned rep.

How can I report on meetings booked through a specific Marketo form?

Is this a two-way integration?

No. Calendly pulls form data at the time of submission but doesn’t send booking info back to Marketo.

What happens to tracking when someone submits my form?

Instead of a redirect, Calendly shows a pop-up on the same page for scheduling. UTM parameters are included in the invitee.created webhook. If you're using Zapier or Salesforce, they’ll receive that data.

If your tracking relies on a thank-you page, update the event type’s Confirmation Page setting to redirect to your external URL.

How do I redirect leads to a thank-you page after booking?

  1. Open the event type in Calendly that the lead is routed to.
  2. Go to Additional Options and select Confirmation Page.
  3. Choose Redirect to an external URL and paste your thank-you page link.
