Calendly has several ways for teams to schedule with others. This article explains each multi-person event type and when to use them. You’ll also learn how team pages and shared event types work.

Multi-person event types

For event types that involve multiple hosts, such as Round Robin and Collective, each host must be a Calendly user with their own paid seat. Invitees don’t need Calendly accounts or seats.

Round Robin

Info

Available on Teams and Enterprise plans

Round Robin event types rotate meetings between multiple hosts based on availability. You can distribute meetings evenly across your team or prioritize certain members first. This event type works well when you want to balance workloads or connect invitees to the next available person quickly.

Collective

Info

Collective event types show only the times when all selected hosts are available. Once an invitee books a time, everyone is added to the calendar invite. This event type is ideal when someone needs to meet with more than one team member at the same time.

Group

Info

Group event types let one host meet with multiple invitees in the same time slot. This format works well for webinars, info sessions, and workshops where several invitees attend at once.

Share event types and pages with a team

Use teams to manage events together and keep scheduling consistent. When you’re part of a team, you'll share a team landing page where invitees can view and book events.

Work with anyone by using shared event types

Shared event types make it easy to collaborate across your organization, even if you're not on the same team page. You can quickly create multi-person event types without involving an admin.
